Implementing BIM to the Small Scale Company in the Czech Republic
Helvínová, Veronika ; Pospíšilová,, Barbora (referee) ; Vítková, Eva (advisor)
The topic and the aim of the thesis is to define BIM characteristics, the pros and cons of BIM implementation and the development of BIM situation in the Czech Republic. Current situation is analysed in selected regions due to a newly arising situation of a possible use of public procurement by BIM methods. Simultaneously are examined current pros and cons of implementing BIM in companies. Based on a knowledge and results of the survey is created a potential scheme of a process needed by implementing BIM into the small-scale company.
A Creation of Class Features for the Building Information Model
Šuba, Štefan ; Kuruc, Michal (referee) ; Volařík, Tomáš (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is introduction with BIM and the use of laser scanning for creating BIM. This thesis deals with informations about BIM, laser scanning and with process of creating families in Revit.
Design of urban area using advanced technologies
Nováček, Michal ; Apeltauer, Tomáš (referee) ; Remeš, Josef (advisor)
The subject of the thesis is to define sunlight illumination as a building-influencing physical factor from the perspective of the technical standards in the Czech Republic. It aims to optimize the draft making process, and a quality of selected technical standards for sunlight illumination in the Czech Republic. In conclusion there is an example of a sunlight illumination analysis in different ways.
Modeling, simulation and experimental measurement of reaction of systems heating / ventilation requirements of regulation
Matějíček, Michal ; Komínek, Petr (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the behavior of technical systems of the student dormitory in Brno. The temperature and humidity climate was measured and evaluated in the building. The measurement is then compared with the computer simulation created in DesignBuilder. The geometric model of the building was created in Revit, which supports BIM technology. Based on the evaluation of the experiment, the optimization of the technical systems in the building was proposed.

Within the framework of the dissertation the doctorate candidate student will investigate, what are the key aspects existing for measuring the quality of work of the technical supervision during the construction of transportation infrastructure. The PhD student will examine conditions at which the standard way of monitoring and invoicing external suppliers of technical supervision can be abandoned considering a simple count of hours of a supervisor spent on a construction site must not necessarily relate to the quality of his/her work. Furthermore, the PhD student will be analysing whether any of standard supervision activities can be digitalised, resp. robotised. The outcome of these analyses should be used as a background to implement an internal control mechanism for supervisors in entrepreneurial environment. These outcomes can be also applied to public contractors during the selection process of technical supervisors.
Freestyle cycling hall
Bartakovič, Róbert ; Müllerová, Eva (referee) ; Müller, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is the design of an indoor bike park with necessary facilities for its operation like a bike shop, bicycle repair center and a chill out zone. The building is located in Brno-Ponava. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part is focused on architectural and structural design, the second part is focused on building services design and the third part is focused on facility management with implementation of BIM. The building is designed as a concrete frame with wooden roof beams. Floor structure is made from prestressed hollow core slabs. The building is founded on piled foundations and foundation pads and strips. The building envelope is made out of sandwich panels, the insulation of which is made of mineral wool. Northern and southern facades are designed to outline the jumps inside. Eastern and western facades are almost completely glazed for optimal daylight supply. Sanitary facilities are heated by floor heating and an air-conditioning unit is installed here. Showroom, chill-out zone and bicycle repair center have its own air-conditioning unit by which is the area also heated. The area for the bike park has an air-conditioning unit which is also used for heating and cooling with the help of condensing units. The heat is supplied by a local district heating system via a hot water heat exchanger. This system distributes the heat to floor heating in the sanitary facilities and to the air-conditioning units. The building is connected to the electricity grid. Despite that, there is a large photovoltaic power plant on the roof, which is used mainly for the export of excess electricity. Building is connected to sanitary sewer. Storm water is collected and used for irrigation. The last part presents cooperation in a common data environment. It deals with the principles of collaborative work procedures in the CDE environment and with the cooperation of individual design teams on BIM contracts.
Construction phase in the building information model
Richterová, Zuzana ; Hanzl,, Vlastimil (referee) ; Berková, Alena (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the creation of construction phases in the building information model, which were created with the use of data from the design documentation of passport, data from the actual measurements taken mainly by laser scanning and the design documentation of reconstruction. This thesis describes the procedure from fieldwork (acquisition of measurement data), through its processing, to the final drawings including also the model in *.rvt format. The focus of the thesis is on the project phases, for which the issues arising in their creation are described. The stumbling block in this thesis was the inconsistency in the design documentations, which was mainly reflected in the creation of the model of the reconstruction phase. All the pitfalls that occurred in the thesis are explained in the text.
Model of the block house in Revit
Richterová, Zuzana ; Volařík, Tomáš (referee) ; Berková, Alena (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to create a model of the ground floor in the software called Revit and explain the method of work in the program. This model is based on the real construction of a slab block which is located at Herčíkova 2, Brno. The created model was created on the provided documents from the 2018 course called Complex project and from the preserved original design documentation from 1969. The whole bachelor thesis is divided into chapters, which are named according to the individual modeled elements. Especially for the chapters Floor, Staircase, Railings, Doors, Windows, Annotations and Linking of projects, there is a more detailed description, analysis of problems, demonstrations, working with different types of families, inserting coordinate system and comparing reality and model in the project. Furthermore, in the bachelor's thesis there is a chapter Tips, which is used to simplify work in software Revit.
Impact of 3D modelling on road design
Indruchová, Sára ; Gottvaldová, Jana (referee) ; Kosňovský, Michal (advisor)
This diploma thesis is based on creating a 3D model focused on transport constructions. The aim of the thesis is to find certain advantages and disadvantages in different design approaches. The theoretical part compares the difference between the 3D model and the BIM model, the advantages and difficulties of modelling and the use of the model in practice are pointed out as well. The practical part of this work includes the transformation of chosen road constructions and existing enginerring network from the 2D to the 3D model. The main source is already existing drawing document in DPS level which serves as the basis for this thesis.
Analysis of the possibilities of linking building and economic software and software for technical drawing
Domanský, Vojtěch ; Aigel, Petr (referee) ; Výskala, Miloslav (advisor)
The main topic of the thesis is the analysis of the possibilities of linking building and economic software and software for technical drawing, in which BIM models are created, in order to achieve automatization of BIM model budgeting. The introductory, theoretical part defines the area of solved problematics in a broader background and the context of the problem. The overarching theme is BIM. Therefore, the basics and principles of this method, its fundamental aspects and current implementation within the Czech Republic are solved. The following chapters deal with standard budgeting procedures in the Czech construction market. The specifics of classical methods and their shortcomings in the context of contemporary construction are described. In the following part of the thesis the BIM budgeting concept, its vision and related aspects are discussed in more detail. The actual draft of the solution of interconnection of price systems and software, in which the BIM model is created, with orientation on valuation automation, is presented in the final, practical part of this thesis. Requirements for solution are defined and the procedure of its creation is described. Finally, the solution is tested and evaluated.
